Matte lips anyone? Perfect Matte Lips with Miss Romantic 24 hours chic lip gloss - Review & Swatches

Matte lips, matte lips everywhere!! liquid Lipsticks being "THE THING" this season has sparked some major interest this year and to be honest I  am a total fan of this matte lips trend especially the liquid lipsticks that stay on for like forever! No Lipstick lasts more than 2 to 3 hours on me, the big Lipstick eater I am yes *sighs* so the liquid lipsticks are a total saviour for me! 

Recently I got a chance to try these beautiful liquid lipsticks from a brand rather  unknown "MISS ROMANTIC". Lets head over to the review.

Miss Romantic Ultra Chic 24 hours lip gloss :

Miss Romantic is a chinese brand. I could not find any description of the brand or the products online.

My Experience :

These liquid lipsticks come in a crystal clear rectangular tube so you can easily spot your desired color in your vanity. The applicator is a flat doe foot that is easy to use and spreads the products nice and easy over the lips. Its hard point makes it super easy to line the lips in the beginning. 
The shades are numbered which is present on the bottom. It can be a bit misleading as the sticker might peel off and one is unable to know which shade to get.

Now for the product itself. The lighter shades are a bit sheer and needs 2 coats to completely cover the lips. Always wait for 1 coat to dry before applying another coat. It applied evenly and the formula was easy to work with, neither too runny nor too thick.  The Lipstick dried to a perfect matte color that looks a bit chalky but is soo, soooo comfortable to wear. It might look as if lips are plastered but actually they are not! I was totally smitten by the light weight formula of these liquid lipsticks!

A light bubble gum pink.  Needs 2 coats to be opaque. Applies smooth.

Shade 01: 

A nice muted pink that leans to warmer side.  More of a barbie pink color!  Needs 2 coats.  My favorite among all

Shade 04:

A deeper, darker pink that gives a co purple hint to it. Needs one coat

Shade 03:
A perfect shocking pink.  Needs single coat.  My another favorite.

Shade 05: 
A slightly darker version of shade 03 . Needs one coat only.

Shade 06:

The darkest among all. A reddish pink with deeper undertones. Tends to look Red sometimes.  Needs single coat

The shades 03,05 & 06 look sooo similar in the pictures but they are quite different in real. They belong to the same family just minute differences in shades that tend to get deeper.

Thumbs-up for :

• Affordable
• Wide range of colors
• Perfect matte finish
• Do not feel heavy on lips
• Once dried, are smudge proof and do not transfer.
• Can be used in combination to create ombre lips
• Long lasting

Thumbs down for :

• Availability might be an issue.
• If you don't like dead matte finish
• Lighter colors need layering

Price and availability :

I got these 24 hour super chic Lip glosses by Miss romantic for 300 pkr (3$) each from a Facebook page" BEAUTY TIPS ". They ship within Pakistan and worldwide.

Rating:

I give these a 4/5.  The dead matte finish may be a  turn off for some people & availability in local market might be an issue if you like to see the actual product before buying. Otherwise, totally recommended to try and test different colors!

My Experience :

Working with foreign brands has always been a pleasure particularly Korean brands are just amazing!  Working with K Lens Pop is a  pleasure in itself. I chose a grey pair of lens just to see what do I look like (self obsession I know) with grey eyes. The dispatch was immediate and guess what! The parcel was in my hands after 8 days all the way from Korea!  Bravo for such fast delivery. The lens box was nicely packed in bubble wrap and tapped.  It came with an instruction pamphlet and precautions and everything one needs to know. Inside the box, the lens come in sealed vials with plastic tweezers for handling and lens container to put them after opening. In fact everything is provided you just need to buy a lens solution and you are ready to use your lens.

It was my first experience using lens and I was pretty much apprehensive using them gathering all my courage I popped them in my eyes. To be honest I  was expecting watering and redness and heaviness in my eyes. But there was nothing!  It was so easy to put these lens on and I carried them with ease for a good 2-3 hours. They are so thin and flexible that they do not irritate the eyes at all. After my first use, I am sold to K Lens Pop lens.

I was thinking how would the grey lens look on me but these are such natural looking and blend well with natural eye color. Even though these are not large diameter lens, still they give appearance of big eyes and give a doll eye effect.

If you like to wear lens and experiment with different colors than these lens by K Lens Pop are definitely for you!  I highly recommend using these and get tons of compliments from everyone because its so hard to tell if its your natural eye color or you are wearing lens ;)
