Beautiful, Soft and light METAL brushes by Rosegal.com - Review

Winter is here FINALLY ! and that means lazing around , staying in bed and enjoying some sun when it shows its face. Also it means that whatever you are going to wash will stay wet for a couple of days , unless you try to take some drastic heating measures and dry it asap . Confession coming through : I am super lazy in washing my makeup brushes and in winters when they take about 3 days to dry completely , I tend to not wash them very often . Now to just make things a bit more workable , I planned to get some new brushes this winter so that if one set is drying , I have an alternative waiting in the stash . During the search , I came across this website named ROSEGAL where they stock up ladies and gents clothing and also some makeup tools and accessories as well.

So, they asked me to pick something for myself and keeping in view the rant above , I picked up this 7 pieces plated brush set and that's what the today's post is all about. So lets get started

My Experience : 

7 Pcs Plating Handle Nylon Facial Eye Makeup Brushes Set

If you have hung around for a while ,you would know by now that I am a sucker for everything pretty .There has been this particular metal set by Real Techniques that I had my heart set on but since it was pretty much expensive (by my standard of expenditure) so I just had to let it pass . Now when I saw this particular set at the ROSEGAL website , I knew in an instant that I wanted it like anything else . 

This 7 Pieces Brush Set with Nylon Hair comes in 4 different color choices , Gold , Silver , Rose gold and Mix color. I opted for a mix color set because I liked all of them . 

The handle is made of plastic and has metallic paint over it and is not at all metal plated as claimed, which I think is a good thing as it keeps the weight low , however it does feel cheap and plastic-y when held .The Nylon bristles are really really soft for all the brushes except for the large fluffy blending brush which I feel are a bit harsh for the eye area, I don't know if its just mine or every fluffy brush has the same problem. The hair are really soft and have a light hue at the end ( only the face ones ) that perfectly adds to their beauty .

The set contains 7 pieces of different brushes which are as follows:

1.Large face brush /Powder brush

2. 3D concealer /foundation Brush

3. Tapered Blush /Highlighter brush 

4. Flat Contour brush 

5. Fluffy Blending Brush 

6. Tapered Smudge Brush 

7. Slanted Eyeliner/Brow Brush

Of all these 7 , the flat contour brush has to be my ultimate favorite. It makes contours as easy as a breeze and is really soft and dense and blends it without any hassle . The other face brushes are really soft as well . I have used them a couple of times now and also washed them,the stains come off pretty easily with mild shampoo and also there is minimal shedding of the hair so far which I think is really great. One thing that I feel is the plastic handles are a plus for  these , because the wooden handles of my Sigma brushes have  started to have cracks upon soaking them in warm water which is pretty disheartening for me.All in all I am really satisfied with my pick because for this price these are definitely a steal . If you are on the outlook for a budget friendly pretty option to add to your vanity, this brush set might be your answer.

My Rating :

only if the plastic material would have been of a little better quality and finishing , the rating would have topped . Moreover the harshness of the blending brush is some what putting me off as well.

Accessorize with Zaful.com - Review

Can we just have a memory check please? Remember the last post? It was something about a bag from ZAFUL, rings any bells? Well , it should ( just assuming that you love my blog and keep checking in often :D) , and even if you haven’t , here is the LINK to my previous post , which I strongly recommend you do if you love some super high quality yet affordable bags. Coming back to today’s post , I got some accessories from Zaful.com along with the bag . Since they arrived separately, I decided to put up another post for them so that you guys can have a better look at the stuff I got .
This post isn’t going to be long (like it usually is) because all the details about Zaful.com are in the previous post which you can check HERE. Let’s have a look at the stuff and details of each

1. Cat Eye Sunglasses :

These mirrored cat eye sunglasses were something I instantly liked , thanks to my obsession with everything that is even remotely related to cats. The frame is metal with really fine finish but doesn’t feel heavy and is easy to use for longer periods. The mirrored glass was something I wasn’t a fan of previously but this purple tinted glass goes with the black frame just perfect.

It is priced for $ 4.53 which I feel is a great deal for the price

2. Earrings:

For me studs are the preferred type of earrings that I use mostly .I picked up these two earrings that looked pretty and different from the rest. 

The Blue Floral ones are made of acrylic flowers and studded with diamantes .The finish is really fine and they look super pretty to wear. Since somehow my wardrobe has turned blue this summer, they are going to get a really good wear time. Only thing that bothers me is the metal clasp at the back because it tends to get loose with time which I hope doesn’t.

These are priced for $3.05

The large Rhinestone studs are a little disappointing for me as the finish is not so neat and beautiful as shown on the website. The stones are fine cut but the placement is not fine. I believe it’s because of the antique styling of the metal frame. Nonetheless, they are perfect for formal and semi formal occasions paired with a choker.

3. Two Leaves Shape Elastic Waistband:

With all the belt craze going on, I picked this golden leaf clasp detail belt just to give it a try. The belt is pretty heavy given that it’s all metal and the leaves are pretty compared to what was shown on the website. Not that I am complaining but it’s really a delight. The leaves are finely carved and fit each other perfectly. The metal band is long enough to fit all sizes easily. I was dreading it to be hard and not elastic enough, but it’s really fine made and has tons of elasticity. So if you are looking for some fancy but cheap waistbands, this one totally recommended.

All in all, if you are looking for some quality accessories , I would really recommend  Zaful.com, The zircon studs were a little turn off for me , but still may be I am looking too deeply because I have been praised a lot while wearing them. With a wide range of shoes, bags, jewelry and apparel, I think zaful is a really good site to check out if you are looking for good quality affordable stuff.

My Experience

First thing first, I am very selective when it comes to bags ,given this reason I have a very limited collection of handbags .Recently, I was approached by PR Representative of Zaful.com and was offered a collaboration with the freedom to choose stuff myself ( BIG YAYY!) . I had been on a hunt of a nice handy Tote bag for a while so I picked up this little thing because it was exactly what I was looking for and the little dangling tassels detail just added to its beauty.

Shoes, bags and dresses are something that I avoid to order online because there is no guarantee how they will turn out to be in real. Within 15 days of ordering, the package was in my hands, all nicely wrapped and sealed.
This Candy Tote comes in 7 different colors which is a wide range in my opinion, because I usually look for a variety of colors in a particular design. It is a very nice compact bag with a really neat finish of the stitching with no loose threads coming out. The material is textured faux leather with a nice matte finish which looks and feels really expensive. The bag has one main compartment, one small zipper pocket and 2 other open pockets inside. The zipper is of really high quality and I haven’t faced any sort of tugging or pulling while using it .I really like how subtle fine gold finish they have given to the zipper and clasps which adds to the whole beauty of the bag. It comes with a long shoulder strap which is also of the same faux leather which no added gold chain whatsoever ,just the way I prefer my bags to be .

The bag comes with a dangling tassel detail separately ,that gives you a choice of either using it or just pass it .The pearl balls are really beautiful ,however the trinket doesn’t feel as luxurious and fine like the rest of the details .

Overall, I am totally in love with this Candy Tote bag by Zaful.com. I would be direct linking it below so you guys can check it out and order too. The price tag is pretty reasonable and I find the total ordering process too easy and quick.
