My Experience:

About a year back, there came a voucher book named BOGO (buy one get one –for dummies like me) exclusively for Karachi. This had about 100+ vouchers for various eateries, shopping websites and salon services in it to be used at them making various offers. It was such an intriguing idea and had instantly taken my attention (because food?). But to my dismay, this book was only valid for Karachi (I envy you guys!). After much success, people at BOGO, finally decided to push it a little further to touch the hearts of people of Lahore. I recently got the chance to receive this book and have a feel of it just to have my thoughts jotted down for you guys and trust me it’s a difficult task when you have a bundle of vouchers ready to be used and you are glued to your laptop screen writing down your experience because you are too excited for it!

Gearing up for Fall ft. Zaful.com, shoeboxpk & L.A Girl Pro

September is almost over the and its officially fall over the world. With as slowly it comes, it goes by double the speed and in no time there will be Winter (yaasssss!!). Fall/winter calls for some wardrobe makeover and some color palette change. With all those deep hues taking over, I am actually glad that I would finally be able to snuggle up in my jeans and coats with no worries of ironing and having fancy stuff going around. But still gotta carry me stuff with me, no? Well for that,I have already geared up with 2 basic combinations of black and brown. As my mom has always said no matter what you are wearing just match the bag with your shoes and you are good to go.
Keeping that in mind, I have hauled a bit already and have put up these combinations for you guys. Let's have a look at them

The Blacks :

I picked up this colorful Aztec print over black because too much black would have been cliche. Just the right amount of color doesn't harm anyone. Plus this bag comes with a removable pouch so its a bonus for me.

Though not much clear here, but these sequined flat pumps are life! I love a little bling bling going around without being over the top and these shoes are just perfect. Oh yes and they are super comfortable.
L.A Girl pro flat matte lipgloss in Fluer is a beautiful muted nude with orange under tone which is exactly my kind of color. Though not much of a fan of the formula, the color is something I love. Full review will be up soon.

The Browns :

Next up is the brown color palette. This bag by Zaful is my ultimate favorite. The material is super soft and and it really spacious. Plus it has clasps at the back, so that you can make it a backpack if you want or carry it as a cross body whatever suits you. Love the finishing and its really going to be used a lot this season.

With so much monochrome going around, I have thrown in some color by pairing it up with this uber gorgeous BBIA Velvet Finish lipstick in shade 03 when is a bright pink with blue undertones. Complete review with swatch can be read HERE
Next up is this Marc Jacob's perfume in Dot just to add some warmth in those chilly days. Out of all the perfumes I own this is my favorite. Its a warm fragrance with no floral touch to it (thank God). So if you want to gift me, please get me a full size bottle of this one, thank you :D
I paired these all up with my brown pumps and wonder why aren't they photographed :/

Accessorize with Zaful.com - Review

Can we just have a memory check please? Remember the last post? It was something about a bag from ZAFUL, rings any bells? Well , it should ( just assuming that you love my blog and keep checking in often :D) , and even if you haven’t , here is the LINK to my previous post , which I strongly recommend you do if you love some super high quality yet affordable bags. Coming back to today’s post , I got some accessories from Zaful.com along with the bag . Since they arrived separately, I decided to put up another post for them so that you guys can have a better look at the stuff I got .
This post isn’t going to be long (like it usually is) because all the details about Zaful.com are in the previous post which you can check HERE. Let’s have a look at the stuff and details of each

1. Cat Eye Sunglasses :

These mirrored cat eye sunglasses were something I instantly liked , thanks to my obsession with everything that is even remotely related to cats. The frame is metal with really fine finish but doesn’t feel heavy and is easy to use for longer periods. The mirrored glass was something I wasn’t a fan of previously but this purple tinted glass goes with the black frame just perfect.

It is priced for $ 4.53 which I feel is a great deal for the price

2. Earrings:

For me studs are the preferred type of earrings that I use mostly .I picked up these two earrings that looked pretty and different from the rest.

The Blue Floral ones are made of acrylic flowers and studded with diamantes .The finish is really fine and they look super pretty to wear. Since somehow my wardrobe has turned blue this summer, they are going to get a really good wear time. Only thing that bothers me is the metal clasp at the back because it tends to get loose with time which I hope doesn’t.

The large Rhinestone studs are a little disappointing for me as the finish is not so neat and beautiful as shown on the website. The stones are fine cut but the placement is not fine. I believe it’s because of the antique styling of the metal frame. Nonetheless, they are perfect for formal and semi formal occasions paired with a choker.

3. Two Leaves Shape Elastic Waistband:

With all the belt craze going on, I picked this golden leaf clasp detail belt just to give it a try. The belt is pretty heavy given that it’s all metal and the leaves are pretty compared to what was shown on the website. Not that I am complaining but it’s really a delight. The leaves are finely carved and fit each other perfectly. The metal band is long enough to fit all sizes easily. I was dreading it to be hard and not elastic enough, but it’s really fine made and has tons of elasticity. So if you are looking for some fancy but cheap waistbands, this one totally recommended.

All in all, if you are looking for some quality accessories , I would really recommend Zaful.com, The zircon studs were a little turn off for me , but still may be I am looking too deeply because I have been praised a lot while wearing them. With a wide range of shoes, bags, jewelry and apparel, I think zaful is a really good site to check out if you are looking for good quality affordable stuff.

My Experience

First thing first, I am very selective when it comes to bags ,given this reason I have a very limited collection of handbags .Recently, I was approached by PR Representative of Zaful.com and was offered a collaboration with the freedom to choose stuff myself ( BIG YAYY!) . I had been on a hunt of a nice handy Tote bag for a while so I picked up this little thing because it was exactly what I was looking for and the little dangling tassels detail just added to its beauty.

Shoes, bags and dresses are something that I avoid to order online because there is no guarantee how they will turn out to be in real. Within 15 days of ordering, the package was in my hands, all nicely wrapped and sealed.
This Candy Tote comes in 7 different colors which is a wide range in my opinion, because I usually look for a variety of colors in a particular design. It is a very nice compact bag with a really neat finish of the stitching with no loose threads coming out. The material is textured faux leather with a nice matte finish which looks and feels really expensive. The bag has one main compartment, one small zipper pocket and 2 other open pockets inside. The zipper is of really high quality and I haven’t faced any sort of tugging or pulling while using it .I really like how subtle fine gold finish they have given to the zipper and clasps which adds to the whole beauty of the bag. It comes with a long shoulder strap which is also of the same faux leather which no added gold chain whatsoever ,just the way I prefer my bags to be .

The bag comes with a dangling tassel detail separately ,that gives you a choice of either using it or just pass it .The pearl balls are really beautiful ,however the trinket doesn’t feel as luxurious and fine like the rest of the details .

Overall, I am totally in love with this Candy Tote bag by Zaful.com. I would be direct linking it below so you guys can check it out and order too. The price tag is pretty reasonable and I find the total ordering process too easy and quick.

7 Days of MM Makeup - Day 6 : MM Makeup Ethereal Glow (Review & Swatch)

Day 6 and I am practically on cloud nine ! Just one more post to go eh buddy ? With all the Ramadan preps ,particularly the million dollar question WHAT TO COOK TODAY ? ( not that I am a very good cook , nor very fond of cooking ). Oh ,this reminds me , have you checked my Instagram today ? I have posted a really yummy recipe of a 5 minute microwave cake that is surely going to get you hooked !
Seems like fasting has gotten hold of the best of me ,so rather than talking MM Makeup Ethereal Glow , I am talking food. So getting back to it , I am going to talk (Talk ? ) about the MM Makeup Ethereal Glow in Pink Radiance today . Well the description says its a highlighting powder and then says VIBRANT COLOR WITH A LITTLE BIT OF SHIMMER , ummm please makeup your mind . That was on a lighter note , no offence MM people , I love you guys ! Lets get on to the review before I start another one of my rants . So MOVE !

MM Makeup Ethereal Glow:

Pressed highlighting powder adds light-catching shimmer to give you an Ethereal Glow. It blends on easily, gives excellent color pay off and doesn’t streak

Who is this for ?
For the women who enjoy vibrant colors with a little bit of shimmer.

My Experience :

MM Makeup Ethereal Glow comes in a matte black compact with a mirror inside which is a really good size . The lid closes with a clasp which is tight enough to not open in you bag for sure . Plus the packaging is super sturdy ( take it from me ,because I have dropped it a couple of times and its as good as new).The back of the compact has a label with the name of the product . In PKR 950/- you get a total of 12 gm ( 0.42 oz) of product , which in my opinion is a very decent amount and going to last very long even if used daily , I will elaborate the reasons in a while .

Coming to the product itself . The MM Makeup Ethereal glow is a beautiful baked highlighter /shimmer blush with a marble pattern.This comes i three variants and the one I have is RADIANT PINK.By the description given on the website , these are supposed to be highlighting powders ,but the colors are so vibrant that they are actually Baked shimmer blushers . So if you are getting them to use as highlighters , please bear in mind that these are NOT highlighters.
These blushers are very finely milled and pigment packed. Since these are baked blushers, the fall out is minimal ( almost none ! ), hence no product is wasted and you can get to use the product for a very long time . As I said these are pigment packed ,and I mean it . Just a dip of brush in the product and it picks up enough to be used with a light hand on both cheeks .Yes I said LIGHT HAND , or else you will end up being a clown face ,these are THAT pigmented. Even though its a baked blush , I was expecting it to be kind of hard to pick but it turns out to be easily picked up by any kind of brush . The product itself is buttery smooth and soft and easily blendable.

Even though the one I have is named Radiant Pink , it is a beautiful blend of peach with some pinks mixed in it, the main color being beige/peach sort which makes it kind of contradicting from its name . Once applied , it appears more Champagne/Rose Gold rather than pink .If you have checked my previous post on Stay on blusher in Shell Bronze ( Read HERE ), its almost the same color just a tad bit darker than it .
The shimmer in it is very fine and once applied appears as a sheen and no visible specks are there . So if you like a luminous glow on you face ,this is the one for you.
The staying power of these blushers is no less than 5-6 hours in this sweltering heat which makes it a really good addition to summer makeup products that we can use without the hassle of too many touch ups . Even though I am a matte blush person , still I reach for it for any formal evening that needs a little glow. For an extra oomph , I layer up with one of my favorite highlighters
All in all , I would say as a blush this is going to work wonders but as a highlighter I wouldn't be the one suggesting it . I guess it would be better if the description of these blushers is varied a little bit so that people ordering online might have a better idea of what they are getting.

7 Days Of MM Makeup - Day 4 : MM Makeup Lip Gloss Review & Swatches

Its day 4 of the MM Makeup series ,which means we have hit the mid of the series finally ! I am so proud of myself ,I am going to bake a cake for myself now :') . When I first started the series I was pretty much sure that I won't be able to make it to the mid week let alone 7 days in a row ! But Lo and Behold ! You are reading my 4th blog post in a row.
So, as I have said in my previous posts (in case you missed I will link them below ) currently we are on the Lip products and today is the last one from the line ,which is the Lip Gloss . Usually Lip gloss are under ratted products and not liked by many due to reasons of being Glossy (well they are lip GLOSS for heaven's sake ), sheer coverage and no having enough pigmentation. Though I agree to all of these points ,but there are days when you just want to go all fresh and natural with a little mascara and just lip gloss which looks super cute by the way . For those days , I have a few lip glosses in my stash and I keep on using them from time to time .
